I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Thermo Fisher Scientific (Carlsbad, CA) in Aug 2015
Interview
The interview was mostly related to project management process.
Unfortunately, a large percentage of my interview "time" was either spent waiting for someone to show up, waiting for someone to come back from putting me on hold, or waiting for someone to show up who eventually would decide not to show up.
The people I did interview with were awesome. However, for the type of global projects they were hoping to achieve, and the clear lack of commitment to simple tasks (i.e. show up for an interview that you've had on your calendar for a week) communicated to me that whomever takes this position will not be successful in this environment.
The interview dragged on over the course of several weeks. It got to the point where it wasn't worth investing any more of my time away from work to participate in this process. The final step was to come back for yet another interview, to meet with the hiring manager's boss (CIO), to which I politely declined as I'd burned about 3 days of vacation at this point going back/forth.
I absolutely appreciated the awesome work of the recruiter, and really only stuck with the interview process after feeling let down because the hiring manager seemed like an awesome person to work for.
I withdrew my application.

Interview
Their rejection email is probably the most rude and carelessly written I've received so far. It said I didn't meet the minimum requirements for a role I have YEARS of experience. And they sent it for TWO roles.
