I applied for this position two months ago and only recently heard back from the recruiter. The recruiter reached out to schedule an interview with me and I was genuinely excited because the role appeared to be very promising. After responding to the recruiter and providing him with my availability, I never heard back. I then applied to the role again and received a rejection email just a couple of days later. I don't know if this a common practice on the Marketing team, but based on this experience, I would not recommend anyone apply to a job here.
This is one of the toughest job markets I've been in and I think kindness and consideration goes a long way. Stop leading potential candidates on if you have no intention of maintaining basic professionalism. Communicate. If plans/needs have changed on the company's end then you should share that information with the candidate. It's incredibly insulting to put potential candidates through this emotional rollercoaster. It's really frustrating to be on the receiving end of such a clear display of unprofessionalism from someone tasked with finding talent for the company. Try being a little more human. Try having just a touch more respect for others.
