Interview
Applied online & got an invitation for the online coding challenge after about 2 weeks. Coding challenge comprises of 2 questions (think leetcode easy questions ). Then, I was told to choose an availability date for a phone call cultural interview. The next was the final stage with 2 sub-stages: technical & cultural with 2 different managers. The technical interview (algorithm & DT) was for an hour & the cultural was for 30mins. After that, a decision will be made in a few days & you’ll be contacted if you got in. The interview process took 2 weeks. There’s also a feedback loop after the interview if you don’t get in. The recruiter & managers were really nice & helpful. All in all, it was an amazing experience.
Leetcode style 1 hr technical along with 1 hr behavioral with pretty standard questions. Interviewers were both really nice and hardest part of technical were the follow-up questions but the interviewer was very helpful.

Interview
I scheduled a first round technical interview. Recruiter emailed 2 days later saying position filled. Very disappointing. Phone screen was good descriptive and helpful. Shoukd of flagged rolling hiring. Was for junior engineer role.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Toast Inc (Bengaluru) in Mar 2026
Interview
Overall, the interview experience was good, with questions ranging from a moderate to slightly challenging level. There were a total of four rounds, and the difficulty progressively increased with each stage. The initial rounds focused on fundamental concepts and gradually moved toward more in-depth problem-solving and advanced topics in later rounds. This progression allowed for a structured evaluation of both core understanding and the ability to handle complex scenarios.
