The first part of the process was two questions on HackerRank in relation to manipulating lists. I think it was about an hour long. The questions were quite easy for anyone with experience with algorithms. The second part was just a chat with a talent acquisition recruiter. They were really nice and it was just a general chat to get to know the candidate and to explain the process going forward. The third part was another technical interview but I cannot disclose what it was about as I signed a NDA. It was quite tough, and after this I was informed just over a week later that they would not be moving forward with me and that they would be looking at other candidates. All in all, it was a great experience and it seems like a lovely company to work for. I would not hesitate for a second to apply to Toast again, despite my initial disappointment.
