HR phone screen – A call with human resources to review my leadership background, verify logistics (location, salary expectations, role scope).
Hiring Manager interview – Interview with the manager I would report to with a heavy focus on your previous team leadership, engineering strategy, execution, and some technical depth as applicable, including process development experience.
Team interview round – Peers, other senior leaders or directors. Included:
Some Behavioral/situational questions(leadership, culture fit) with examples.
Final check with hiring manager – closing any open concerns from the process.
Offer & negotiation – HR/recruiter extended an offer, negotiate compensation, confirm start date. †
