I applied online. I interviewed at USAA (Tampa, FL) in Feb 2017
Interview
Interviewed with one person and another was on a conference call speaking with me as well. The interview was very professional and they asked normal questions. They gave me time to think about each answer and then after that was over they told me all about the company and what I would be doing. They also told me about the work schedule and asked if I would be okay working on the weekends and overtime.

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 4 days. I interviewed at USAA in Aug 2019
Interview
Phone interview was followed up with an online personality test. Guess I said the right things, as they called me in for a sit down interview. This was a somewhat strange experience, as the interview tag team was nearly 15 minutes late in starting. They also were wearing casual clothes, while all the interviewees were in suits. Seemed oddly un-military at the time.

Question 1
Right off the bat they asked about salary, so you know they were looking for a low bid answer. I mentioned that I had seen a published range for the position and they seemed a little surprised.
