I applied online. I interviewed at USAA (Dallas, TX) in Aug 2020
Interview
It was a normal interview process. It was very relaxed. They didn't really ask anything to complex. It was more focused on what you know. If you know what your talking about and your confident in what your saying, getting hired shouldn't be a problem.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
What are difficult situations you have been in and how did you deal with it?
Very long process. But people are very nice. Talked to HR first to discuss benefits. Then talk to a VP, then a ED, then 2 directors, then the hiring manager. The last talked to 2 future team members.
I applied through other source. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at USAA (Sierra Vista, AZ) in Mar 2025
Interview
I had a great experience with Mr. Fletcher (Senior Talent Acqistion Partner). He is a veteran who understands the challenges that service members face as they transition from military service, which made the interview process less stressful.

Question 1
As a supervisor, you’ve made an unpopular decision. What action would you take so that morale in the department is not negatively affected?
There were two interviews. One with recruiter to go over resume and why I was interested in the job. Second interview was with hiring manager and there was a series of behavioral questions. Hiring manager and lead were very polite.
