      Application

I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at USAA in Sep 2023

      Interview

Process took 2 months which I applied in July, and was contacted in September for the interview. Initial was a phone screening with a recruiter, and 2nd interview was with the claims department hiring manager. The interview was very recent so not sure if I will receive an offer or not. The questions I listed may not be 100% accurate as I didn't remember them word for word, but they are very similar.

      Interview questions [1]

      Question 1

Tell me about a time when you had to deliver sensitive news, and how you went about it. Tell me about a time when you showed your work ethic and went did something because you knew it was right. Tell me about a time you had to adapt to a new workplace or work environment. Tell me about a time you had to use multiple sources or resources to solve a problem and how you went about it and what was the outcome.

      Interview

Initial interview was reviewing resume and qualifications. A few basic questions on why you want to work there and what you know about the company. This interview was 30 minutes, and they decide if you get the second interview.

      Application

I interviewed at USAA (New York, NY)

      Interview

Applied online, was sent test, after passing test was contacted for phone interview. Recruiter called me on time. Honestly the recruiter, Savannah, could not have sounded more bored. It was the worst experience I've ever had. And I always make it past the phone interview with every company I interview with. Usually the recruiters hype up the company. It was clear from the start she didn't want to be interviewing me. I knew instantly I wouldn't be getting the job. Which of course made it hard to sound upbeat and excited when your interviewer would obviously rather be talking to someone else. Overall a disappointing experience since I know people that work there.
