Position listed with a top salary range of $120K. Advised at initial call position bugeted at $80K ($40K less than posted position). This is the first interview after 11 applications for positions I was well qualified for (and them some). My former Chubb Ins. Supv. Cindy Bruman is good friends with USAA HR VP, Gloria Dicandia.
I was told the interview would be 60 minutes however, the interview was 20 minutes and consisted of details of the position and two questions. This interview came about after my reporting to the US Dept of Labor/EEOC, the unusual fact, 10 previous applications were rejected with some positions being reposted immediately after my app. rejection. A former colleague previously spoke to the USAA SIU manager who asked for a copy of my resume and, my application would be secured, once submitted as approximately 48 SIU positions would be posted. No job offer was made for the Sr. Injury Adjuster position. I'm of the opinion, the interview was offered in an effort for USAA to "CYA" due to my reporting the repeated application rejection circumstances. Draw your own conclusions.
