Watch youtube training videos, SMILE, use TPR (total physical response), and practice! It is online through a VIPKID teaching platform (no extra cost for overseas communication). It is about 1 hour long for the interview and then 1-2 MOCK interviews to present your teaching skills( 1 hour each). It is painless and a mentor helps you through the process, giving tips.
Got hired as a British speaking then cancelled as not from America which I disclosed at the first interview which I think was silly and unprofessional at the time it was during covid when this happpened.
Very lenghthy interview process, but the interviewers were nice and helpful. There were several steps to the process and it was pretty involved. I had to prepare a lesson beforehand
It was easy an straightforward. 1 interview and 2 mock classes to pass. They offer a contract for a year with option to renew after 1st contract is over. Overall the process last for about 2 weeks from the time you apply unless you are waitlisted.
