I applied through a staffing agency. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Vector Marketing (Santa Cruz, CA) in May 2009
Interview
The interview for this "job" is all a sham. Everyone who interviews with Vector gets the job, they just try to make it seem like it is a legitimate interview to trick you into believing that this is a legitimate company to work for. It is true, that you can make money, but only if you exploit your personal resources (friends, family, etc.). Cutco is a great company with an excellent product, but as a Cutco Sales person, you do not work for Cutco, you work for Vector.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
The most difficult step to making money with Vector is finding enough friends, family, or acquaintances to buy your product.
It was a zoom meeting with other candidates, but we were interviewed separately, it went well very well learned about the position and also, we had a meet up at the office to practice with the product and learned even more about sales.
I applied online. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Vector Marketing in Jul 2025
Interview
It was a quick easy zoom call in a group interview followed by an individual phone call interview with an answer if you’re hired or not then and there. Simple easy questions as well.
I interviewed at Vector Marketing (San Marcos, TX)
Interview
There’s a zoom interview that can take up to an hour. Questions are simple like why are you looking for a job, and asking if you can schedule a 2-day training on Friday and Saturday.
