Veeam Software Senior Software Engineer interview questions

First an interview with HR. I was told about the company and asked about salary expectations. Then writing a test task at home. My test task had roughly 700 lines of C++ code and unit tests and it took me a few evenings to complete it. I got positive feedback on the test task. Then a technical interview. There were seven pieces of C++ code and I was asked questions about the code. It was mostly about C++ syntax and different cases of undefined behavior. The questions were not very difficult. I answered most questions correctly and got positive feedback from the company. However the company chose another candidate.
