Verkada Full Stack Engineer interview questions

Didn't get past the first step, the take home assignment. The assignment was pretty large in scope for an interview question. It involved several micro-services and docker containers/compose. Spent several hours on the assignment and didn't hear back for a week because the CTO had to make the decision and he was abroad. I think I did a pretty decent job on it but eventually they said "We're looking for more experience". (Isn't that why I sent over my resume?) Personally, I feel like if you ask an applicant to commit to a significant amount of work and they turn in a working application, it deserves a follow up phone interview.
