      Interview

Great process overall. Several managers, rep and directors were part of the process. Dove into background and the why behind wanting to make a switch to Verkada. The why was a consistent theme through-out the process.

      Interview

Spent nearly 3 months going through the interview process with several people via zoom and in person. I was sent to the wrong address by the recruiter during my first onsite and was asked to schedule a different day when I arrived at the wrong address. After several meetings and presentations, I was told everything went really well and the final interview would be an onsite, in-person interview with an exec member and 2 other sales VP's. Each of these conversations were expected to last 45 min (3 total). When I traveled onsite, I met with the exec founder for 30 min. I met with another VP for literally 3 min and the third VP never showed up. Instead he called in via zoom and we talked for ~15 min. All of the conversations were questions and things I had already talked through. I was blown away at how unprofessional and unprepared the onsite was. I felt the travel was a waste of my time. Several days later after no responses, I get a call from the recruiter telling me they decided not to move forward with an offer and that it's their policy not to give any feedback as to why. (Insert eye roll and laugh emoji here). I could tell the recruiter was embarrassed by this whole process and wasn't even sure what to say on the phone. I asked several times for feedback and to connect with the team, but ran into walls every time. The company might be alright (?) but that was sloppiest interview process with Sr. and exec leaders I've even seen. Unfortunately, that leads to consistent, bad hiring decisions.

      Sales Director Interview

      Easy interview

      Application

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at Verkada in Feb 2023

      Interview

Spent 3 months interviewing with many people via zoom, onsite, etc. I was told everything was going very well and they wanted me to meet with a few sr leaders and exec members as a final step. 2 of the 3 people I was supposed to meet with onsite didn't even show up. Rather, they spent 5 minutes with me on a zoom call. 7 days later, I got a call from the recruiter telling me they weren't making an offer and he didn't have any feedback for me. That was the most unorganized process I had ever been a part of.

      Sales Director Interview

      Negative experience
      Easy interview

      Application

I applied through a staffing agency. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Verkada (London, England) in Dec 2022

      Interview

This company was introduced to me through a recruiter, and the interview process involved meeting with the hiring manager, followed by an in-person meeting with the hiring manager's manager and several other individuals deemed key to the process. However, upon visiting the company's offices, it became evident that despite its portrayal as a high-tech company, it exhibited traits reminiscent of the movies "The Wolf of Wall Street" and "Boiler Room." This became apparent when observing the presence of a "Loser board" and the cramped office space resembling that of a call center with employees closely packed together. Furthermore, during the interview process, some of the questions asked were unprofessional in nature, as they seemed to be seeking information, deals, or connections with other individuals for this role or other purposes.
