      Sales Interview

      May 28, 2015
      Anonymous Interview Candidate
      Denver, CO
      No offer
      Neutral experience
      Difficult interview

      Application

I applied online. I interviewed at Vi (Denver, CO) in Jan 2013

      Interview

You will likely be asked questions about your teamwork skills, your interpersonal relations, your management style or your ability to work in a diverse environment. Review the job posting again and try to anticipate other likely areas of questioning, and prepare honest and concise answers that highlight relevant aspects of your work history and life experience. Remember that there may be questions you did not anticipate: when this happens, breathe and take a moment to think through your experiences to find the best answers. On the day of the interview, dress appropriately and arrive early, calm and mentally prepared. Bring a list of references if you did not already include them in the resume you submitted. And, most importantly, don’t forget to relax and be yourself

      Interview questions [1]

      Question 1

When you arrive, you will meet your selection board (usually two or three people, including the supervisor of the position and a representative of Human Resources). The team leader will tell you what to expect, and will explain that the board will be recording your answers for later review. Don't let this recording process distract you—it’s a normal part of the interview and necessary to make a complete assessment later on. The board will then begin asking you a series of questions to assess your knowledge, abilities and personal suitability. These may include:

Phone screen was less than 10 minutes. Despite my experience in a parallel field doing the same tasks, was spoken to in a manner implying I wasn’t qualified. Unless you are a Minority in South Florida, you won’t get hired. Look at their websites and the Leadership.

      Accepted offer
      Positive experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied through an employee referral. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Vi (Aventura, FL)

      Interview

excellent: the HR dept was very consistent with following through with each step in the process and if needed they were always available to provide clarification. My interview was local and each interviewer had an interesting background that made me feel at easy coming from a different industry.

      Sales Interview

      Oct 15, 2015
      Anonymous employee
      Naples, FL
      Accepted offer
      Positive experience
      Difficult interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 7 weeks. I interviewed at Vi (Naples, FL) in Apr 2013

      Interview

The process takes several weeks, up to two months. You must apply on line, then an in person interview, several phone interviews with the Chicago office, a Gallup test, and up to three panel interviews. You must pass a background check, drug test and be fingerprinted. A proven track record of success in senior sales is a plus. They do not make decisions quickly due to the lengthy background check. The Executive Director of the community also interviews, even though the Sales Manager generally has the last say. The HR Department in Naples has turned over many times, they are not helpful.

      Interview questions [1]

      Question 1

What was my formula for success? How would I take my previous experience and use it in this genre?
