I had a very disjointed interview experience. I said that I was open to recruiting for multiple different functions, so my point of contact scheduled me to interview with all groups that were hiring. I ended up meeting with 8 people, but 2 of them were not hiring for their teams and I did not meet with 2 groups who did have openings. The people themselves were great, but the process was totally exhausting. Unfortunately it was one after another "So tell me about yourself!" The next day, they gave me their "best and final" offer and when I declined, they came back at me with $10k more! I thought that was very unprofessional... I knew that even if I took the job I wouldn't be able to trust them. It's a shame because they have super sharp people and the company is booming, but a huge missed opportunity on the candidate experience front.
