I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at WestRock (Richmond, VA) in Aug 2012
Interview
The process was pretty straight forward. Phone screening, one on one interview and then a panel interview. Everyone was very nice, upfront and professional.
Unprofessional, unprepared, and a waste of my time. Recruiter scheduled an interview in the am and called on time [Elizabeth Quick], but I noticed some noise in the background. The recruiter was driving in the car on her way to work. How are you going to interview me, or even remember my feedback, or even take me serious when you are in your car diving to work. This was the sign that I needed to stay at my current role as unprepared and unprofessional and a waste of my time. I have a choice where I work and I am interviewing companies as well as they are interviewing me. If you want high quality talent, your recruiters have to exemplify the same standards.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at WestRock (Knoxville, TN) in Nov 2016
Interview
Phone interview that was not very good. The recruiter did most of the talking and I left the interview feeling like he didn't learn anything about me. He didn't really ask me any questions and then proceeded to pick apart my resume instead of talking to me about my skills and experience.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Immediately asked about my expected compensation and I provided him the range I was seeking and was told I would never find a job. I didn't leave the interview feeling like it was a company I wanted to work for.
