Interview
During my interview with the team's manager, I was told that my experience with a specific application did not matter and that it was something I could learn on the job. The previous employee did not start with experience in this application either. They proceeded to send me on two more interviews with the team. I only received a rejection after following up with HR and the reason was that they had chosen someone with experience in this application.
The interviewers were friendly for the most part but they wasted my time by sending me on additional interviews knowing that I did not meet their main criteria and not being explicit about it.
