I contacted the company recruiter for the Douglasville, Georgia campus. I spoke with her, Amanda Jordan and submitted to her my resume, references, and cover letter. I spoke with her on the phone to answer a few preliminary questions about the job. I answered questions about my availability and about my willingness to work odd hours. I was invited, after a few days, by email, to the main campus to tour it and to conduct and in-person interview. This interview consisted of questions about my education and prior work experiences. It also included questions about hypothetical scenarios involving youth and about how I would react/respond to them. I heard back from Amanda Jordan approximately two weeks later, requesting my college transcript and inviting me back to campus for observation of the unit I was applying to work with. After observation, and one last talk with Amanda about how the observation went, along with a question and answer round, I was told I had gotten the job! I went through two weeks of training and orientation and a week of on the job training before I was considered a full-time employee.
