Zendesk Sales Development Representative interview questions

The overall interview communication was good at the beginning, however it deteriorated towards the end. The interviewers both did not show up for the initial scheduled discussions and we had to reschedule, which was understandable in some way but completely unprofessional as a candidate would not more through the interview stage if they were to do this. Passed on to the 2nd stage of the interview, only to be told via an automated email that they decided to go through with other candidates. They might be busy, but that was not the experience I had in the past and it made you feel like do not care about people they talk to at all. Overall, the seemed to be looking for a product expert from the get go not someone who was able to do the job overall, and had better expectations from this company.

Initially I talked with the recruiter, then the SDR Team Lead, Skyped with the SDR Regional Manager where we went through an on the spot role-play using a real life client case study and then completed a small research task. The task included creating a 30/60 day plan, writing up a Zendesk sales pitch, articulating my sales process and identifying relevant enterprise contacts (and their contact details) and justifying why I thought they would be good prospects to potentially sell into. Everyone I spoke with was switched on and the whole process was relaxed, yet to the point. Solid feedback was given after every step, even if said feedback took a little longer than expected to deliver.
