The first meet and greet went alright, the technical interview did not. I was pretty much role silo'd to my current position and the interviewer couldn't seem to get past that my role originated as a startup, where I did COE work exclusively, and only after the acquisition I transitioned into a customer-facing role.
I didn't work very hard to correct the interviewer as a quick glance at my resume would have uncovered my Cloud Ops Engineer experience.
There was also so much talk about the CEO and how Zscaler is such a great place to work, it was the majority of the conversation and it put me off. Psychology dictates that the more you have to say you are something, the less likely it's true.
