Zscaler’s bread and butter products are great. Excellent pay and benefits. Fast growing technology

Cons

Toxic Mid Level Management looking out for themselves. Employees are easily expendable. Company seems fixated on stock prices and losing its focus on making happy customers. Diabolical review practices. My whole team received reviews from our manager. The SVP of the group then lowered everyone’s rating down a full level without any feedback or reason. The same SVP then laid us all off a few months later.

Pros

Good pay, decent benefits. Team members are competent for the most part. Decent tech for the space.

Cons

Bad employees are not dealt with. Company is obsessed with AI internally and externally. Training is delivered via AI, employee assessments are being done by AI. Company focus is all in on AI only. Internal tools, documentation, presentations, marketing, tech docs and papers are scattered everywhere with no organization - you guessed it, find it by using AI to search for stuff. CEO drives sales pitch, presentation and methodology that everyone must follow. Processes are a mess and take a lot of time for employees whereas they could be modernized. Operates a bit like an offshore call centre.
