Started off with a 30 minute screening phone call with zscaller's recruiter which was about if i had the minimum qualifications or not. Within a few days i was then scheduled to meet with the Hiring manager. This interview went great. We talked about strategies and tech related questions that centered around the senior role. We hit it off and he said he liked me and was putting me into the technical round. Before i got to the technical round i was contacted by the recruiter to setup sometime to meet with the Departments Director. This meeting also went well were i was asked how i would handle different technology support strategies. The last interview was a bad experience. They wanted me to meet with some of the team members from India, but not during normal business hours. They wanted me to have a meeting late at night because of the time difference. To say the least there were some issues understanding what exactly was being asked during this interview. I had to repeatedly ask for clarification. I had a very hard time understanding there broken english which made the interview extremely difficult.
When i had the other interviews the hiring manager could tell i had the experience needed for the position. Its just too bad it had to end like this. Having a tech round is great and all but in reality experience and dedication outperform memorization....
