I recently went through most of the interview process with Zuora for a Commercial Account Executive role. While I eventually decided to go in another direction with my search, I wanted to highlight the positive interview experience I had with the Zuora team.
Initially, I was contacted by a recruiter via LinkedIn and we set up a phone screen. Gabriella, their Director of Global Talent, was beaming with excitement about the company and she asked genuine, thought-provoking questions about my experience and the direction I wanted to go in my career. Honestly, she was wonderful to work with.
Next, I met with two VP's within the sales organization. I spent close to two hours with them and we were able to dive a little deeper into the role/responsibility, as well as my experience/goals. Following their approval to move me forward in the process, I was scheduled to meet with sales engineers and to do a presentation to highlight my skills/aptitude.
The company has great leadership, a great solution, and the team members I encountered were all very professional. In the end, I chose a different path but I would recommend Zuora to any high tech sales professional looking for a new challenge.
