I was reached out from a recruiter at eTeam and decided to jump on a call with the recruiter. The recruiter is helping Qualcomm, which is one of the top tier semiconductor companies to recruit Recruiting Coordinators. There was only a phone call with eTeam before they told me that the company decided to invite me onsite. Since I'm located outside of the area, I asked if there's any travel reimbursements, they said no because it was suppose to be a local hire. I hesitated. Then I asked if there's any way the company itself can send over an email to confirm the interview schedule. They reacted weirdly, asking what kind of proof do I want. That is when I became more alert. They even assured me that if I go onsite, there's a high chance I'll get the job. How could they be absolutely sure on that? So I went online to search for possible scam situations at eTeam and found quite a lot of negative reviews. I never ended up going in for that onsite interview so I couldn't be sure it was real or not, however my overall experience wasn't great. There's just something fishy about this company and I'm not telling anyone this is fake but you should definitely search reviews online before deciding if you want to move forward.
