"Hello": This happened to a friend of mine as well, so I was ready for it. It will happen to you too. What your going to want to do here is treat it as a greeting. Your subconscious mind might try to add a question mark to the end of the Hello and your mind will start racing and searching for the best answer, maybe just jump right into your volunteer service during middle school and the summer between junior and senior year of college..don't let it. This is the most common American greeting,and really the most-common greeting anywhere in the entire world. Take this time to say, "Hello" right back to them. Most people look the other person in the eyes and reach out their hand to offer a shake and introduce themselves. You first, then them..or the other way around..neither order is more right than the other. For this interview, none of that is necessary. If you're too awkward for handshakes and greetings, this is your time to shine, because at literally any other interview in the entire universe, that won't fly.
