A recruiter reached out to me for a position that sounded like a good fit. I had a phone conversation with the recruiter who filled me in on the position and what iCIMS was looking for and why she reached out to me based on my LinkedIn. I was interested in the position and moved forward in the process.
The interviews were held through Zoom due to the pandemic. Many were casual in conversation but did include many situational questions in relation to the role I was interviewing for along with questions about your understanding of what the company does. Everyone was very passionate about the company and their coworkers, which was exactly what I was looking for in a company - one that grows people both professionally and personally.
I was not selected for the first position I interviewed for, but the recruiter was very transparent in that I would be a good fit for iCIMS and moved me over to another recruiter who reached out to me for several other positions he felt would be a good fit for me. As a result, I got to interview with people from several teams - all of which embodied the iCIMS culture stated on their website.
Each Zoom interview was only 30 minutes, which seemed a bit short, especially when meeting with the hiring manager. If you move past the interview with the hiring manager, you will get a good feel for the team and company by meeting with others. Overall a very concise interview process with solid communication from the recruiting team.
