Well, at the very beginning the clerk lady wouldn't let me apply for assistant teacher -- she wanted me to be a sub teacher, since they pay more. I left and came back another day she wasn't working. (I was a substitute teacher the previous year, in a different district, and I was right to assume assistant subbing is a lot more fun, a lot less stressful.)

No one-on-one questions were asked, the mock lesson is the only part of the interview you are judged on. You're not expected to actually teach any new to anybody, all of the "lessons" were simple grade school subjects. I think you're mostly observed on how well organized your lesson is, and how you do speaking in front of others. It probably also wouldn't hurt if you interact with everyone during the lesson. Walk around and touch base with everyone in your group, making sure they "understand" the material.
