Mission Our vision is to be the safest, most reliable, most successful regional airline in the world for our customers, employees and shareholders.
Description Envoy Air Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of American Airlines Group (NASDAQ: AAL), operates a fleet of over 180 aircraft, serving more than 160 destinations with 800 daily flights. With a workforce exceeding 20,000 employees, Envoy provides regional flight services under the American Eagle brand to American Airlines, and also offers ground handling services for a number of American flights.

Established in 1998 as American Eagle Airlines, Inc., Envoy was founded after the merger of several regional carriers, consolidating into one of the largest regional airlines globally. Headquartered in Irving, Texas, Envoy boasts significant operations in American’s key hubs such as Dallas/Fort Worth (DFW), Chicago (ORD), and Miami (MIA).

To distinguish itself from the American Eagle brand, which encompasses multiple carriers providing regional flight services for American, the company officially changed its name to Envoy Air Inc. on April 15, 2014. American Airlines Group serves as the parent company for American Airlines, and Envoy.
