About Us
Since 1958, Sequoia Living has created enriching environments where residents are empowered to build their best lives. Our communities are much more than places to live—they are places where residents learn, grow, and live life to the fullest. And every day, our team members show up with their heads and hearts, ready to find ways to be better than we were yesterday.
Building on a Legacy of Experience
For more than 60 years, Sequoia Living has created vibrant living environments where older adults can thrive. We own and operate four life plan communities in Northern California: The Sequoias San Francisco, The Sequoias Portola Valley, The Tamalpais Marin, and Viamonte at Walnut Creek. We also own three affordable housing communities in the Bay Area: Eastern Park Apartments, Western Park Apartments in San Francisco, and Town Park Towers in San Jose.
We also care about older adults in the greater Bay Area and value giving back to our community. Our nonprofit foundation, Senior Services for Northern California, provides funding for culturally sensitive community service programs like the San Francisco Senior Centers and AARP Experience Corps® Bay Area that enhance the health and well-being of older adults throughout our region.
