DO NOT come here in hopes of the grass being greener. It is all smoke and mirrors. They say all the nice stuff to hook you in such as "We're people first" yet that is far from the truth. They do not care about their people - all they care about it is making money.
They're constantly nagging about meeting budget, upselling all these unnecessary items or services. Every day they add more and more little tasks for you to do just adding more to your already overflowing plate.
They rarely give raises; If anything they do whatever they can to avoid it. For example, they'll purposely lower your review to say you just met expectations even though in the same review they say you're doing everything right, are going above and beyond, and they can't think of anything you have to improve.
They also don't invest in their employees and would much rather hire externally even if those people turn out to be incompetent. And if they hire from outside, you bet they're going to expect you to train them too, all while they're getting paid more than you.
They constantly increase the prices of exams, lenses, and frames even though they don't do anything to actually improve anything.
