Pros

Working with customers, benefits, hourly pay plus commission, you can move up in the company, extra training is fun, depending on the store, you can work all over the country.

Cons

You work every Saturday, long hours, depending on which store you end up working for, you can get a great manager.....or you can get a horrible manager that can make work life difficult , low pay.

They are going downhill

Pros

some doctors that I have gotten to work with are the only good thing that this company has left and with all the new changes they are adding they will lose them too, some good dms over the years

Cons

Everything. the pay, the benefits, the lack of empathyin leadership, the bonus structure. The company is on a downward spiral. They are SO CHEAP with compensation that it is actually a joke. They never give proper raises. They are making cutbacks wherever possible. Two years ago the company changed the requirement that salaried managers had to work 45 hours (after lunches) and brought it down to 40. Despite still terribly lacking compensation, tools at the store and benefits, executives still had the audacity to bring back the 45 hour work week and lower the bonus structure. Even with extremely understaffed stores, they are cutting payroll. It is not just difficult to succeed here as a store manager- IT IS IMPOSSIBLE.Greedy company. I used to believe in their mission statement. I did not want to leave a company that I was loyal to. But corporate has clearly demonstrated that they do not care AT ALL about the people who work at their stores. Work to life balance in non existent. Corporate greed at its finest.
