Pros

Great Benefits, Great Coworkers, Cafe at HQ

Cons

Position was eliminated following 10 years of dedicated service, with no transition placement or internal employment opportunities provided. I also don't believe the company knows or understands it's own culture.

Incompetent Tech Leadership

Pros

- Decent benefits, 8.5% 401k match, 20 days PTO w/option to buy 10 more - Great coworkers

Cons

- There's a saying "A players hire A players and B players hire C players". The tech leadership does not have any A players, at all. - 5 day RTO, no exceptions - Top talent has increasing been leaving, and no roles backfilled so already high workload is absorbed as we begin "wearing more hats" - If you've read this far and *aren't* looking for a tech job, the good news is that this disease is mostly isolated to tech in my experience. Many other departments have very good leadership.
