Pros

I have been with Aptive for 3 years now and have never felt more at home than I do with this company. They have moved me twice in 2018 but if was most certainly for the best. I am happy when I go home and I am happy when I wake up to go to work. They have the best management and corporate officers in the industry who will pay attention to concerns and listen to what everybody has to say no matter if you have been with them for 1 day or the entire time they have been open they are open to all suggestions. There is always room for advancement and you will get the full training and all the tools you need to succeed. I can honestly say that I believe I would not be nearly as happy with any other company.

Cons

For me there are no cons because the only cons are the ones that you make your self. You are the network and line to your own success.

Pros

You can unknowingly set up dozens to hundred of accounts for Dave Royce free of payment.

Cons

This company will promise you the world and deliver about 1/3 of what you might expect. They have the tendency to use deceptive statistics to sign reps. Their database reflects different numbers than that of reality. Their metrics are only based off of the 7-8 hundred of people that "finish" the summer dates but account for the entirety of the sales force 2000+ sales representatives. They make you sign a non-compete for 36 months so if you have any plans to sell ANYTHING for the subsequent 3 years after Aptive they will sue you. If you are a manager and decide that Aptive is the wrong fit for you they will keep all of your reps and be continually recruiting out from underneath you. They go behind anyone's back who even hints at the idea of not continuing to sell for them to make things as difficult as possible. They have a bucket system that if you fall beneath you will not collect any commission from (20%+) of all your accounts. Those that do not resign for the following summer will have extremely coincidental metrics move i.e. Easy Pay %age will fall below the 75%+ requirement and they will be subject to pay $20.00 per account for all accounts sold in other words it will be a $2000.00 deduction for every 100 accounts sold. The owner seems to only act in behalf of his own self interest. You will not be paid as they advertise, their per rep averages are lies base off of the total number of accounts sold distributed among those that finish the summer instead of the actual number of reps working and selling those accounts.

Pros

Advancement Employment Schedules Remote Multiple sources

Cons

I worked for this company for two years. Last year, it was ranted and raved to join a department that the company was streamlining towards. I applied and did not get the job the first time. I was offered another interview and I got the job. The position never panned out to be what it was told to be but it was supposed to be a good move. However, since moving to this position I endured a major pay cut, odd occurrences with no regard for human life nor decency, to just about 2 hours ago unemployed. It’s heart wrenching because I asked constantly for about a month if something drastic was going to happen and would I at least still be employed, I was told from the director to my manager that there was nothing to worry about and I would be made aware if anything changed. Just as dreaded, a mandatory meeting was called, started late where we was thanked for our patience, to ending with being told we were without a job within a matter of 5 minutes. Meeting ended access to all platforms denied and that is the end of a two year stint with no offer to another position, no warning, no time to plan anything with the current state of the world. That’s the Aptive way!
