Pros

Collaborative, kind, and very smart teammates. Strong learning culture and feedback. Nice perks/benefits.

Cons

Multiple reorgs created shifting priorities and occasional ownership gaps. Hard to keep focus amid competing initiatives.

Pros

The company and culture runs on the product we build and sell. If you are new to Asana (the platform) it may first come as a shock when most of your work only happens in Asana but then you quickly realize that work happens more efficiently because of it. During the hiring process the communication was clear and very helpful to prepare for interviews. Since joining the people are very quick to help out when you assign a "task" or join a quick chat. The offices provide great benefits and really incentivize you to come in person.

Cons

As Asana expands further upmarket, they are bringing in many new senior leaders and bigger sales teams. This is shaking up the culture and priorities for folks that have been around pre-pandemic PLG. Not all bad - just a moment of evolution.

Pros

Mission/vision Founder The pre-ipo spirit in the culture and product

Cons

Exec staff makes decisions by consensus, plays political games to keep their jobs and many are out of their depth. Same with their direct reports.
