Pros

Business support teams make this group a true pleasure to work at. Working day in, day out with some of the highest level minds on the planet. Benefits include: fully paid health coverage for the fam, generous time off for the junior level staff, an industry leading luxury travel policy. Training is person, not career, centered. The training and personal development I've received has provided me with some of the most valuable advice I've ever received for my life.

Cons

Negative experiences almost always derive from our position as a client services firm, not internally.

I get to work with some of the smartest people I have ever met. Culture of mentorship and genuinely nice people. Cannot imagine a better training ground for almost any business or leadership role.

Often poor work/life balance Associate salary is competitive with similar firms, but effective wage is low, based on hours worked

I'm a true believer that for many, BCG is the best consulting firm out there. Opens unbelievable opportunities and fosters incredible professional growth while still remaining personal. Believe the professional development opportunities are greater here than any other top consulting firm.

Cons

All the normal ones for a consulting firm, but great culture and improvements to work/life balance are generally beyond where the competitors are. Unfortunately, a lot depends on your staffing situations, but the median and mean experience are pretty good.
