Pros

The people. My team is amazing to work with and it’s a shame that our culture is being degraded by the few at the top

Cons

I’ve been with Butterball for over 3 years and I loved working here until very recently. Butterball has always preached “leading with purpose” and listening to their employees. However, after multiple repeat years of record breaking profits, they are taking away the hybrid flex schedule and requiring corporate employees to be in-office 5 days a week. Leadership refuses to address employee concerns and questions and is playing favorites by allowing some people to continue to work from home but not allowing that flexibility for all employees, it’s shameful and archaic. Employees thrived on the current hybrid schedule, enjoyed work-life balance while still having 3 days in office for collaborating and team bonding. This change will essentially be a pay cut for many employees who will now pay more in gas, child care, pet care, etc. No pay increases or any other benefits are being introduced to compensate for this change. Diversity at Butterball is embarrassing. The leadership team is entirely white and all male except for ONE woman.

Pros

The people and management are great to work with. All are friendly and management does try to provide a good work environment with the employees. Bonuses and advancement are better than usual.

Cons

I was given a salary position, for which we came to a yearly amount, however, the amount that I am paid compared to the hours that I work is not working out. Yearly salary was divided 2080 working hours, however I am working between 50 to 60 hours a week.
