Pros

There are no pros anymore

Cons

All perks and incentives have been taken away since the new CEO took over. Since he came all of our summer and winter hours have been taken away. We did not receive any Merit increases this year, and only received a portion of our annual bonuses while you see all these people getting hired on to the company and high-level positions making double what we make with titles that appear to be made up. You are expected to work at least 50 hours a week no matter what they say to you. You are micromanaged and made to feel as if you are just a number. It is very much a company that is divided by favoritism. There used to be a great sense of work home life balance which is gone now. Leadership is very calculated and the work environment can be hostile. The pay is minimal to industry standards especially compared to the amount of hours and work that they expect from you. All information is public knowledge the CEO received quite a hefty sign on bonus as well as all these over paid people with big new titles. If you're not in upper management your voice doesn't matter. Management omits things from people to make things seem better than they are. The company has gone downhill drastically and beyond repair and egos are at an all time high. Promotions are on a who you know basis not what you know or how deserving you are.

Bonuses are a joke

Pros

They used to be a great place to work for but over the years little by little people are being laid off, benefits are being taken away (who doesn't have bereavement leave?), and employees have become nothing but a number.

Cons

Every year since I've been here-over a decade, we've had a bonus which by the way they advertise as "pay for performance" however this year-3 weeks before we are supposed to get our bonus we get an email from CEO that states no bonuses because financial goals weren't reached. I understand if those responsible don't get bonuses, but what about those people who earned their bonuses through their performance. Nothing and no notice. And the response from management is "deal with it" and "it is what it is"

Company is Going Down Hill

Pros

The majority of employees work from home and there's no push to RTO. I can't speak on other managers, but my manager has been very supportive and understanding and has been a joy to work under.

Cons

Benefits are being taken away under new CEO. Last year (2024) they gave employees a lesser annual bonus (if they were eligible for it) and no merit increase stating the company was not profitable. However, they find the funds to hire new CO'S and increase their wages. We used to get winter and summer hours where in the summer we go home (paid) 2 hours early on Fridays for a few weeks, and in the winter we go home 2 hours early one Friday a month for a few months. Winter hours were completely taken away in 2024 and summer hours now only apply to certain employees in 2025. I imagine this is just the tip of the ice berg. The company may be in trouble if they're having to take away benefits, or they're shifting to increase money in shareholders pockets which, either way, is not good for regular employees.
