Nice Company

Pros

I loved the diversity of the employees and its leadership. I appreciate seeing many women in leadership roles. My team and all the teams I had the pleasure if working with were great! Everyone worked hard in their position and to assist anyone from other teams in any way possible. I saw it in other reviews, and I have to agree on the thing about less fun activities. The company does have nice events like the company picnic, though not as many as they used to, which is disappointing.

Cons

The pay isnt on target to their competitors, but that is because they dont require the same certifications and prior training/experience. Unfortunately, if you do have experience, you will be underpaid. But it is a choice you make. The pros outweigh the cons.

Pros

A lot of very talented and driven people work here

Cons

Small fleet leadership is very concerned with protecting their favorites and making them look good, meanwhile a lot of great employees suffer as these favorite are put into leadership positions they’re not prepared for.

Pros

Offers a free gym onsite. Great with diversity and inclusion!!!

Cons

They used to be great and used to do all of these things and no longer do as of 2019: - they do not promote from within - they always feel an outside hire is better, no matter how hard their employees work. So they get someone with no knowledge coming in and telling them what they need to do, without knowing why we do things the way we do, dont know what we have already tried and makes us repeat mistakes again because this time the results might be different because it is their idea. This has been happening across all teams, in all leadership, so you have a bunch of mangers getting together and discussing things when not one person in there knows what their team does, let alone how the rest of the company works. - They used to have family and employee outings and events like baseball games, golf outings, picnics every summer, holiday parties, etc. Now they do nothing for their employees - used to give decent raises, but now they have used the pandemic as an excuse to not pay their employees, despite demanding more work and despite having semi-yearly meetings where they announce how the company is making billions of dollars a year and had very little effect from the pandemic, while also talking about all the renovations they have made to a building that no one is using and to a parking lot no one is using. They have remodeled 3-4 times since the pandemic started, but their employees have received no raises, except for leadership. - work is no longer fun. It used to be fun and now it is just work, work, work, with no appreciation from leadership (managers tell us they appreciate us, but leadership gives us nothing to show it)
