Pros

I started my career with large manufacturer, and have been with 3 contract sales companies over the past 22 years - I can say here I feel valued and respected. They are investing in me- training is top notch and the leadership cares.

Cons

Territory is large, but expectations are appropriate

Pros

- Jim Lang is a true visionary leader. - EVERSANA is doing well as a whole, and it's making a name for itself in the industry. - Opportunities for growth abound, depending on the team you're on. - Some colleagues were a pleasure to work with. - Unlimited PTO.

Cons

It took a while for me to decide whether to post this review, but I decided to because I believe (and my colleagues would agree) that the leadership in Marketing and Corporate Communications is hurting EVERSANA. The CMO’s behavior was so unprofessional and offensive at times that my colleagues would call her a joke behind her back. I won’t list her shortcomings as a leader and risk being called a disgruntled employee. HR already is aware of her behavior and has done nothing about it. Prospective employees: Keep in mind that Marketing and Corporate Communications lost more than half of its team in less than 9 months. The people who have stayed since pretty much fit the same profile, in terms of demographics and ability to flatter the CMO’s ego.

Remove the CMO before it's too late

Pros

Great teammates and qualified leaders who are good people and do their best in spite of also being led by fear. Unlimited PTO and flexibility are a plus unless the CMO needs something immediately due to her lack of planning and your time off is interrupted by her crisis du jour.

Cons

The mental health of nearly every employee on this team has deteriorated thanks to years of verbal abuse, micromanaging, belittling, and classic mean-girl behavior by the CMO. The leaders are doing their best to stay afloat and nearly everyone is just trying to survive a day without being reprimanded for whatever the issue of the day may be. Many have been punished for following directions, in the form of scolding or removal from the project because her direction has changed without prior notice, and most definitely due to a lack of planning, using the excuse that she thrives among the chaos. One day you are encouraged to take your PTO as "self-care" and the next you are scolded for it and told that layoffs are looming so it's best to make yourself valuable, as if your hard work doesn't already prove value. There are regular smear attacks against anyone who poses a threat, and if you're fortunate you'll see it firsthand in the form of rude interruptions or eye-rolling during a team meeting. Her constant need to be liked, stemming from impostor syndrome among other issues, results in sharing gossip or confidential information in order to make the employee feel like a true confidante, only to change her tune and publicly shame them in front of others, especially if her leaders are present. And don't bother talking to HR about any of these issues, because her rap sheet of complaints is so long that it simply gets swept under the rug because they, too, are in fear of retaliation.
