I worked at Aerotech for more than a decade and progressed through several roles, including a leadership position. During that time, I found the technical work interesting and appreciated the stability of the job, but I consistently struggled with aspects of the company’s management culture. In my experience, communication and guidance from leadership were often unclear or inconsistent. Feedback was limited, and decision-making appeared influenced more by personal relationships than by transparent criteria. This made it difficult to understand expectations or see a clear path for growth. I also felt that my contributions were not always taken as seriously as those of my peers. When concerns arose, I did not always feel they were handled with the level of attention or follow-through I expected, which affected my sense of support in the workplace.
