Pros

The mission and benefits are great.

Cons

The culture is quickly going downhill. Executives from Meta, Tesla, etc are being hired and are quickly dragging the culture down. This used to be a great place to work. Now, it is becoming toxic. Managers are being overloaded with direct reports in an effort to become a more "flat" organization. To achieve this goal, the company just laid off over 100 people without advance notice, including many managers. The leaders at Aledade are forgetting that the ones who have been here the longest have extensive domain expertise and would be wise to acknowledge and honor that. Instead, they seem thirsty for outside talent to come in and solve everything - even "problems" that don't exist. Instead of acknowledging problems that are raised by employees, leadership downplays it as "resistance to change" and is unwilling to consider other viewpoints. In an effort to grow, the leaders have lost sight of the mission and values of the company. Additionally, career opportunities have become drastically reduced. There was previously a clear career path. Now, because of the effort to become "flat", career growth opportunities have disappeared. There is no possibility to become a manager or for directors to move up to a more senior position. Now the ones who have been here the longest are stagnating.

Pros

It's a job - that's about the only pro of this volatile and egotistical company. I guess you could say their business plan is good and they are the largest in their space, which is true, but providers are leaving in droves. I wonder why?

Cons

Where do I start? First of all, this company has been enticing employees (who they try to brainwash and call "Aledaders" - can you say "cult"?) with the promise of one day in the very near future, going public. then that private stock you have the wonderful oppportunity to buy, will be worth a fortune! Guess what? The leadership team (and everyone else drinking the Kool-Aid) has been saying that for SEVERAL years. Don't fool yourself into thinking that massive payout is going to happen. If that's your retirement plan, I have some bad news for you. Second, the culture is as rotten as last month's garbage. Leaders will look into Zoom cameras, smile and give you the biggest lies they can, And you will believe them because they sound so sincere and because so many people repeat the lies. The wrong people have been promoted into roles with authority, and they steamroll over others who they put into positions of weakness. Stress, headaches, loss of sleep - it's all common here, unless you're one of the chosen few. And I have more news for you - you're not one of the chosen few unless you've been there long enough to buy into the lies, or if you are too valuable for them to force out.
