Pros

1. Good opportunity for experience 2. Decent chance at getting hired

Cons

1. They do not invest in their current employees. If you are looking for a good place to grow and move up in, this may not be the place for you. The company mentality is to use them till you lose them. They do not invest in talent retention until it is absolutely necessary (you have an offer letter in hand and have put in your two weeks notice). 2. Salaries are consistently under industry standard across the board until you enter a management position. If you are expecting to be promoted and reach industry standard, the chances are slim. 3. Development of employees is lacking. They do not have development plans so your future is always at their whim, and it's never clear to the employee. 4. Interdepartmental culture is not constructive. The mindset is mostly, every man for themselves to make sure you and your department look the best. The company will not grow in quality and efficiency with that mindset. 5. Executive management only cares about the bottom line and not about their employees or quality. Many corners have been cut to increase profit margins, which includes salaries consistently being under industry standard, under staffing of departments, sub-par documentation practices, still being paper based in 2020, and some questionable decisions to save on time and finances. 6. Focus seems to be scattered. I have never worked at a company that starts working on new products while dropping other incomplete projects as often as this one. The decision making on product lines requires much improvement.
