Pros

The pay is about the only plus. I have learned a very valuable lesson, Do your research before committing to anything!

Cons

Well where do I start....The residents had not been taken care of and what I specifically mean by that is we were unable to use washing machines and dryers. They had been broken two days and mind you there is only one maintenance man there. There were myself and another lady to do the CNA work. Now when I did my interview I was told 5 per cottage. Well that was not the case, there were two CNA's and then a LPN that was new. When I tell you I had to change sheets and clothes 12+ times in a two hour period I'm not joking and these people had no clothes! so I was left in a situation where I could NOT properly care for these residents, I was/am mortified. The residents family were so rude and nasty, I have never in my years of doing this have I witnessed every family member to be condescending but, I guess I know why now. These residents where/are not being cared for properly. It just goes to show you have to do your research before putting yourself in these situations.

Pros

Good pay and benefits. 401k match is very good.

Cons

Micro Managment. Call volume is high. There is no autonomy. They watch you like you are children. The only thing that matters is numbers. When you complain about equipment that does not work or other departments that do not take ownership, management does not listen. Get use to filling out Gallup polls every couple of months
