Pros

Growing company, strong brand due to very active managing partners

Cons

Very high turnover in Associate and VP level, specially in Advisory Team. Hierarchal culture, zero training and mentorship, organization is not conducive to realtime feedback, lack of IT investments. Managers meet biweekly to critique employees without a focus on helping the employee achieve without a focus any focus on developmental goals. Managers themselves gossip. I have never worked in a place with the level of gossip and cliques - awful atmosphere at work. Rollouts of new softwares are unorganized and end up generating double/triple work for employees. Instead of upgrading to new efficient software, new software are patchy and not helpful. The entire operation is extremely inefficient, resulting in lots of manual and administrative work for Associates and VPs.

Pros

BBR has a genuinely supportive culture where people want you to succeed. The onboarding program is structured and helpful — you meet teams across the firm and get clear, role‑specific training. Even as a new hire, my ideas were taken seriously, and I was trusted with meaningful work early on. The feedback culture is strong and constructive, and people are always open to connecting, whether through coffee chats or informal mentorship. Overall, BBR is a place where you can stretch yourself, learn fast, and feel supported while doing it.

Cons

No major drawbacks I’ve encountered — my experience has been overwhelmingly positive.

Pros

BBR was a fantastic place to work. They exist in a rare space - an organization small enough to be very nimble but also willing to be bold and the first to try something new as a company. Their focus on innovation and improvement created an unmatched culture. Above all, the people there - from senior leaders to new analysts - were wonderful - personable, hardworking, and helpful.

Cons

No notable cons that should preclude someone from applying or accepting an offer.
