- Upper management replaced the entire software team for a particular product offering (~50 years experience total) with cheaper foreign workers, citing it a "strategic decision". We had just spent 6 months building an entire automated testing suite for the product. The kicker? We had to train our replacements! - The sales team were situated at the front of the huge open plan working area, opening champagne when they made sales.
