Pros

Great families, children and staff excluding management are the only reasons to work for this corporation.

Cons

If you want to work in childcare you are better off with other companies. This company is top heavy with management. The teachers are paid very little, in fact less than other corporation based childcare facilities. Money is all important to this company, above the needs of the families, children and certainly the teachers. Don't expect to be reimbursed your expenses for class materials. In fact don't expect to get much at all to help with resources needed to run a quality program for your kids. Most of the employees at my school got a 5 cent annual raise. If you need to make above a poverty wage and want to have respect do not work here.

Pros

Cadence Academy in Pine Meadow is a top of the line center. After working there for 8 years, I can truly say that the school culture is similar to that of family. The team of staff, the school director, and the families are absolutely incredible. I would recommend this center to anyone with little ones. The staff feel like an extension of family and the center feels like an extension of home. There is an excellent PTO package, sick time, and benefits available for employees. Staff are very appreciated.

Pros

Literally zero. The fact that this company resides in the education sector is an actual crime.

Cons

All this company cares about is profit. They pay the people that are doing literally the most important job I can think of, peanuts. People are leaving their children with these employees, trusting in the development of educational foundation that cadence promises and it is all empty promises. The teachers are barely scraping by, required to work when ill, constantly put in dangerous situations, scenarios against state requirements, etc. and know that if and when state comes in and has findings, you will not be protected or supported by Cadence. Even and especially when they have given you directive to do whatever it was. They would fire my employees for doing what they told them to do, to save face with state. It’s nauseating.
