Pros
- Coworkers who are kind and respectful to others and are committed to the work
- Leaders who care about and listen to staff, and who don't put their own egos first or make work any more difficult than it needs to be
- Leadership that lets you know what's actually going on so you don't have to rely on the rumor mill for information
- Collaborative, people will help you out
- Good benefits
Cons
- The organization grew super fast before I came on, so sometimes things operate as if it's still a "small business" that's still figuring out how to be organized
- Limited on space at all of our sites, so if you need privacy to take a phone call or a break, it's hard to do
- The administrative office is separate from the child care sites, so some administrative staff and educators have great relationships, but depending on your role, you might not feel very connected to each other's work
