Pros

Health insurance premium paid by agency. Flexible schedule (if your position allows). 13 paid holidays annually, including the day after Thanksgiving and Christmas Eve.

Cons

Merit days given in lieu of monetary raises with the reason cited as no money in the budget; however, new (unnecessary) positions are created frequently. Employees in the same position are given different job expectations with some being praised simply because of their work station. Due to low pay, many employees are eligible for services provided for low-income individuals and families.

Pros

CMCA has great benefits and works with their staff to promote flexibility and overall self-care! I have worked for CMCA for 27 years because I love the work I am allowed to do and receive the support that I need to do it well! CMCA's mission is to empower members of the community as well as staff.

Cons

The only downside to working at CMCA is that you will never want to leave :)
