Pros

Chemours is a bad company with bad leadership that has bad ethics and is in a bad industry. The only reason this company is still in business is because of it's close ties to the government. This company is divided between the plant employees who are the have not's and the corporate employees that have no clue or control over what is going on at the plant sites. Both sides have little regard for the other which is the heart of the disfunction.

Cons

The company has been on a path to replace the former Dupont employees as they have high salaries that the company wishes to replace with lower wage younger employees that fit the company narrative of what they think they should be. This means that they are currently trying to quietly remove/layoff employees quietly so that nobody knows or sees what's happening and create a stir. I guess that should be expected as they moved their former CFO into the CEO role. The new CEO can not help but to think and act like a CFO which is cut costs and raise profits and free cash flow at all costs. This short-sighted view of how to run a company will result in lost business continuity and further production declines. Do not recommend a stop here on your career journey unless you think these things are a good thing.
